CVDPV2 in United Kingdom
As of 26 March 2026, vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) has been detected in two unrelated environmental sewage sample collected in London between January and March 2026. Sporadic vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) environmental samples have been identified in various regions since 2022. Chikungunya in French Guiana

Yellow fever in Trinidad and Tobago
On 24 March 2026, the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Health reported a confirmed detection of yellow fever in a deceased monkey. No human cases have been detected. Health authorities are conducting surveillance and vector control measures in the area where the monkey was found. The last significant yellow fever outbreak in Trinidad occurred in 1979. Yellow fever in Venezuela
As of 13 March 2026, a total of 38 confirmed cases of yellow fever (including 19 deaths) have been reported in Venezuela since January 2025. Cases have been reported from Amazonas, Apure, Aragua, Barinas, Bolívar, Carabobo, Cojedes, Guárico, Lara, Mérida, Monagas, Portuguesa, Táchira, and Trujillo.
