Lassa fever in Nigeria

As of 18 May 2025, a total of 5,118 suspected cases of Lassa fever, (733 confirmed) including 141 deaths have been reported in Nigeria during 2025. 18 states have reported at least one case, the majority from Bauchi, Taraba and Ondo states.
